The Ice Butler History

Founded in 1978 by Arthur L. Tillman III and Elizabeth N. Tillman, the Ice Butler started with humble beginnings with only a few employees and one delivery truck.  The Ice Butler has since incorporated in the state of Pennsylvania and has continued to grow at a double-digit rate.  With quality products and exceptional customer service, clients know they can trust us to make a timely delivery every time.  Throughout the years, we have continued to expand production and delivery to keep up with our customers’ demand.

In 2003, our operation transitioned to its current officers: President Mark Tillman and Vice President Tait Organt.  Together, they bring more than 40 years of experience as ice men and continue to employ the values of a family-owned business.  Since 2003, our company has more than doubled its capacity for storage and ice-making capabilities, as well as trucking to keep up with our ever-expanding markets.
